1. Who we are
AlphaGuard Systems (“AlphaGuard,” “we,” “us”) provides automated leak detection and takedown tools for creators who sell trading indicators, bots, courses, and newsletters. This policy explains what we collect when you use alphaguard.live, the client dashboard, and related services.
2. Information we collect
- Account data. Email address, display name, brand or product name, sign-in provider (Google or email), and authentication identifiers if you sign in. We never store your password. Google sign-in is handled by Google; we keep the account ID they return.
- Product data you submit. Names of indicators, bots, newsletters, or official websites, optional code snippets or keywords, and prices you enter so we can watch for copies.
- Scan request and results. Brand, product or website URL, category, channels you selected, and the scan findings we return (matched URLs, lookalike domains, risk notes). If you leave an email for the report, we store that with the scan.
- Enforcement cases. When you Approve a takedown, Decline, flag Needs attention, or open a Legal battle, we store the case ID, source URL, action, status, and follow-up notes so operators and counsel can continue the work.
- Usage data. Pages visited, buttons clicked (for example “Check my leaks” or “Approve takedown”), session ID, referring site, browser, language, screen size, and timezone. These provide coarse regional context; we do not request precise GPS location. We do not log keystrokes, and we do not use advertising cookies or sell this data.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, plan, renewal date, cancellation state, invoice/payment events, and a customer identifier—not your full card number.
3. How we use it
We use this information to:
- run leak checks, monitoring, and takedown notices you approve;
- operate your dashboard, watermarks, and Slack alerts;
- send service email (reports, billing, security);
- improve detection quality and prevent abuse;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your source code to train public AI models.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Infrastructure providers such as Firebase (auth and database), hosting, and email delivery, under contract and only to run the product;
- Hosts, registrars, and platforms when you approve a takedown — we send the minimum evidence needed (URL, snippet, your rights-holder details);
- Payment processors (Stripe) for subscriptions;
- Authorities if required by law.
5. Cookies and tracking
The marketing site does not set third-party advertising cookies. We store a session flag in your browser so the dashboard remembers a demo or signed-in account on this device. You can clear it anytime in your browser settings. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google under their privacy policy.
6. Retention
Account, scan, asset, interaction, and billing-history data stay until you delete them or close the account, subject to tax, fraud-prevention, and payment-record duties. Enforcement logs, takedown correspondence, and legal-escalation files may be kept longer where we must show that a notice was sent or a case is still open. Scan emails that never become an account are deleted or anonymized within 24 months unless you ask sooner.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, HSTS, content-security headers, owner-only Firestore rules (your account cannot read another customer’s data), production API authentication, and automatic redaction of passwords, tokens, and API keys if they appear in a submitted field. Admin collections (threats, enforcement) are not readable from the browser. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not upload secrets (API keys, live trading credentials, customer passwords) into asset snippets.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK and some US states), you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email legal@alphaguard.live. We will verify the request and respond within the time the law requires.
9. Children
AlphaGuard is a business service. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date above. Material changes to how we use personal data will be announced by email if you have an account.
